Construction of the factory building at Erlenweg in Netstal. In the same year the production of gear wheels could be started. The company employed 1 master craftsman, 4 workers and 3 apprentices.
1945

Heinrich Sauter-Staub died that year and his eldest son Heinrich Sauter-Gantenbein succeeded him.
1955
The third, southern building hall was built.
1960
Walter Bachmann died this year and his activity in the company was taken over by his son Dr. Ing. Walter Bachmann-Hauser.
1962
The southern building hall was extended by two floors.
1973
The company had 88 employees.
1976
Sauter, Bachmann & Cie. changes its name into Sauter, Bachmann AG.
1979
Walter Bachmann-King joined as the third generation of the founding Bachmann family.
1981
Extension of the middle part of the building by two floors.
1991
Martin Sauter joined as the third generation of the founding Sauter family.
1995
The extension building was completed to the southeast. In the same year Walter Bachmann-King and Martin Sauter took over the management of the company.
1998
Heinrich Sauter-Gantenbein died this year.
2004
Walter Bachmann-King passed away this year.
2005/2006
Construction and completion of the new building at Zaunweg in Netstal. The old building at Erlenweg was equipped for the assembly of industrial and aviation gearboxes. The heat treatment incl. laboratory is still at the old location.
2011
Sauter, Bachmann AG took over the shares from the former Engineering ZETA in Italy and founded Sauter, Bachmann Italia Srl in Gravellona Toce.
In the same year, the assets of Walter Grell AG in Möhlin, Aargau were taken over. Another subsidiary of Sauter Bachmann, Grell AG, was established.
2012
Acquisition of the majority of the share capital of TCS Group Srl in Mappano di Caselle, Italy.
2013
Max Bachmann joined as the fourth generation of the founding Bachmann family.
2016
TCS Group was sold to a Industrial group from Milan, Italy.
2017
Grell AG was sold.

Max Bachmann becomes Co-Managing Director together with Martin Sauter
