Examples of components for engines: Accessory Gearbox, Compressor Bevel Gear, Power Take Off, Radial Drive Shaft.
Sauter Bachmann has been manufacturing components for fighter jet engines since 2004. These include a wide range of loose gearing parts and entire gear boxes. Such a gear box - a so-called Accessory Gear Box (AGB) - can, for example, be mounted in the front part at the bottom of the engine. The purpose of the AGB is to branch off part of the power of the engine for auxiliary units (power generator, lubricant, fuel and hydraulic pumps). The AGB is also required to start the engine: The starter drives the engine via the AGB until it runs automatically after successful ignition.
